The Case For Pottery Painting
  • In a computer-driven age, it's good to know that kid's still love to paint, particularly when it involves their favourite characters.
  • Some 300 UK pottery cafes/studios (the vast majority of which have opened in the last five years) give concrete evidence of the growing popularity of crafts in general and this activity in particular.
  • Our industry survey indicates that between 60% and 70% of cafes/studios sales are generated from children (3-12 years).
  • Parents are happy to indulge their children's enthusiasm for pottery painting as they see it as creative and educational. Specifically they are keen their kids produce functional items for their home.
